Which is better? Xbox One Games or PlayStation 4

Two new consoles, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are entering the market. They are both very powerful and competing ambitions. Inevitably, the confrontation was inevitable! After they published the tests of Xbox One Games and PlayStation 4, it is justifiable to make comparison between the two consoles. Because there is nothing better than a good battle to decide a winner!

Comparison between Xbox One Games and PS4

The size of the PlayStation 4 is reasonable, and it also seems to be almost too small! It's not a bad thing, far from it. Its parallelogram is really pronounced, the Power and Eject buttons could not be more discreet, and it is also difficult to locate almost the first time you turn on the console! Conversely, the Xbox One games do not get really into detail: it is a large black plastic block, whose design will remind VCRs 90s. In the opinion of some, it would give it a charm. But the console is also very wide, and will cannibalize valuable space under your TV. It's a shame, and Microsoft may not have thought about the fact that you had not only an Xbox one under our TV. Xbox One catches up with its disc tray practice.

The middle name of the Xbox one should have been "media integration". The console is designed to be just more than a simple game console. In the US, it provides access to Netflix and Amazon Video, two scale services. The One Guide, although relatively simple, is practical enough to have an overview of TV programs to watch.

The Xbox One games are compatible with the DLNA, which allows compatible devices to stream content directly on the console. All this is packaged in a solution that can simply switch between TV/video/games, and you may very well have a look on a TV program without losing your current game. Well, it's still far from perfect: sometimes it is difficult to identify the applications running, and games tend to crash sometimes when you switch on the TV.

PlayStation 4 Games manage to annexe content other than games, the same as the PS3. You can download the Netflix app, to access its content, but it will not be integrated towards the console. The console does not manage multitasking, and if you start Netflix, you must close your game session, and vice versa. Also, the PS4 does not support DLNA, but Sony has already said it aimed to integrate later via software Update.
Microsoft has thoroughly studied the subject, and offered its Xbox One games annexe thoughtful features. Multitasking is not yet well managed, and Kinect is not yet reliable enough to replace a joystick. But the result is encouraging, and Microsoft could increase from new partnerships with ISPs, for example to extend its management of multimedia. The PS4 seems devoid of ambitions in comparison, but Sony's priorities are not here, that's obvious.

The PS4 inherited a very good pad. The ergonomics of the Dual Shock 4 is thought to allow two things: put your hands in the bottom of the pad, and keep them in place. The texture under the "grip" allows you to keep your fingers well hung, while the analogue sticks, now smaller, better cling inches. The loudspeaker and jack are also well integrated: it is ingenious from Sony allow plug any headphones, any pair of headphones to its handle.
